44th Annual Bishop Mule Days Celebration - Tuesday, May 21, 2013 to Sunday, May 26, 2013
The Bishop Mule Days Celebration has been held every Memorial Day weekend since 1969 that showcases mules, riding and roping skills, and a Wild West show. Over the course of the event, there will be 181 events featuring over 700 mules and their owners. The event will also have a concert featuring county music stars, parade, barbeque, country dances, arts and crafts show, and much more.
Location: Tri-County Fairgrounds, which is across the street from the Vagabond Inn Bishop hotel. Admission and event fees range from $8 - $556.
Memorial Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Show - Friday, May 24, 2013 to Monday, May 27, 2013
The Memorial Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Show offers hundreds of artists and crafters' clothing, paintings, wood items, pottery, photography, jewelry, quilts, and more. The show will also have food and live entertainment.
Location: Bishop City Park, which is within walking distance at just being 0.3 miles from the Vagabond Inn Bishop. Free admission and parking. Hours: Friday-Sunday from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Monday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
CHSRA State Finals - Monday, June 10, 2013 to Saturday, June 15, 2013
The California High School Rodeo Association (CHSRA) will be hosting the California High School Rodeo State Finals, with gathers athletes from California high schools to compete for the championship on a scale comparable to college and professional. Rodeo events include roping, barrel racing, horsemanship, and much more.

California Deer Association Banquet - Saturday, June 22, 2013
The California Deer Assocation is hosting the annual Eastern Sierra Chapter's Banquet to help support deer conservation with an evening of fun and fundraising. The banquet will include an auction and raffle.

Choo Choo Swap Meet - Sunday, October 06, 2013
The Law Railroad Museum and Historic Site is hosting the Choo Choo Swap Meet, one of the largest local yard sales in the area with vendors and food. The event is held twice a year, in May and October.
