The American Psychiatric Association's 166th Annual Meeting is designed with the tools and in-depth learning experiences to expand the knowledge and improvement of patient care. The 43rd annual San Francisco Pride Celebration takes on this powerful theme over the weekend of June 29 and 30, 2013 in Downtown San Francisco's Civic Center at the foot of the historic City Hall where Harvey Milk once stood and addressed Pride-goers more than 30 years ago. The SF Pride celebration has been said to be "one of the last remaining pride events that can truly be called a rite of passage." With more than 200 parade attendees, 300 exhibitors and 20 stages and venues, the SF Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest LGBT gathering in the country.

On Saturday the celebration begins at Noon in Civic Center Plaza and runs until 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, the celebration starts at 11 a.m. at the Civic Center and will end at 6:30 p.m.

The celebration commemorates the historic day in 1776 when the USA finally became a country in its own right. To get the full Independence Day experience, make sure you accompany your trip to see the fireworks with hot dogs, burgers and chocolate brownies.
