The 17th Annual Navy Days of Los Angeles returns in August 2013 to San Pedro. The event is designed to educate the public about the respected Naval force through tours and distinguished visitor embarks. Sailors will contribute to the local community as part of Navy Days by taking part in local programs and activities, such as "Caps for Kids" and feeding the homeless. This event is a learning experience for students, families and all locals and visitors of San Pedro.

Celebrate the world's largest lobster festival in San Pedro at the Port of Los Angeles 2013 Lobster Festival. The event features fresh Maine lobster meals flown in daily and cooked on the spot, along with fun live entertainment, street performers, dancing and a beautiful view of the harbor ships. Lobster lovers will enjoy their authentic seafood meals in a scenic outdoor park along the San Pedro waterfront over three days in September (13,14,15).

The 2nd Annual Veterans Appreciation Festival will be held in San Pedro in November 2013 at the Port of Los Angeles in celebration of Veteran's Day. The event features resource booths, live music, ship tours, food, kids' fun zone, interactive exhibits and other exciting activities.
